1. Ukraine Turns To Crypto For Donations 🇺🇦: The Ukrainian government has raised over $31.7 million from hundreds of thousands of unique crypto wallets. To put this into perspective, over 0.5% or 1/200th of Ukraine's military budget has been matched in less than 7 days from crypto donations. 

Last week Ukraine's twitter handle posted their wallet addresses for Bitcoin and Ethereum. This meant that anyone holding BTC or ETH could support Ukraine within a matter of minutes. No bureaucracy, fees, or banks involved. Crypto will redefine our international monetary system.

2. FriesDAO Wants To Crowdfund a Subway Franchise (For > $5M 🍟): FriesDAO has raised over $5.4M to purchase fast food restaurants that will be collectively owned and operated. Owners of $FRIES tokens will be able to vote on governance decisions, but token holders won't actually own a stake in the stores or its profits.

Their grand vision is to "create a reproducible framework for community governance to influence store improvement or expansions" starting with the purchase of a Subway franchise. In other words, FriesDAO aims to give communities power over their favorite stores and restaurants. We like.

3. Puma Now Ranks 13th in the .eth Leaderboard (Behind Paris Hilton & Shaq 👟): Puma is the latest mainstream brand to buy a decentralized domain name: Puma.eth. This is one of many crypto-related moves the German sportswear brand has made recently. Puma has invested in feline-inspired NFT collections like Cool Cats NFTs & Lazy Lions.

Domain names are becoming an essential building block and status symbol in Web3. Basically, .eth or .sol domain names replace the super complicated crypto addresses that people need to copy in order to send you money. It's like amazon.com but for your wallet.
