Good morning Shifters,

Before we get to this week's top stories, a quick announcement: For those of you who don't follow us on Twitter (you should!), we recently posted a thread on Odyssey DAO,Ā a learning DAO creating quality, free web3 education. They recently won Product Hunt's 2021 Education award and we love their concise, clear learning paths on web3, NFTs, DeFi, and DAOs.

The LeBron James Family Foundation entered into a multi-year partnership with Crypto.com to provide Web3 education at James' Promise School in Akron, Ohio. Students will learn about the worlds of blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies, and careers in Web3.

- This comes one month after Crypto.com, a crypto exchange, acquired naming rights for what was formerly known as Staples Center in LA.

- LeBron: "It's important to me that we keep opening those doorsā€”especially when it comes to Web3 and out digital future. I'm still learning as everything keeps evolving, and now with Crypto.com, I want to make sure my kids and families are part of that as well."

Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers has drafted a bill to make Bitcoin an authorized medium of exchange in Arizona, the first state to do so. While the bill will likely fail to pass, it may prompt a new round of debate about Bitcoin's adoption in the US.

- According to a report last September, 37% of people living in Texas and Wisconsin favor adopting Bitcoin as legal tender.

- As it stands, El Salvador is the only country that has accepted Bitcoin as a legal tender, though the Tonga will likely follow in second place later this year.
